Orphea is a major player in the Digital Asset Management sector. Founded in 1997, the company develops and deploys digital asset management solutions.

Its projects address issues of storing, centralizing, and distributing media and digital resources.

The company creates collaborative, ergonomic platforms like photo, media, and brand centers, Web TV, e-learning sites, etc. Its solution can be adapted to all sizes of businesses and organizations, whether in the public or private sector. 

Orphea solutions are currently used by over 150 clients wordwide.

Orphea DAM's start in photography

Orphea originally began as a project to create a photo center for the prestigious Prisma Media, which has continued to rely on Orphea solutions since the 90s. At the time, the photo and press agency sector had an urgent need for solutions and tools to manage their photographic assets.

 

Since it was launched, the DAM application was named Orphea Studio, which later became the company’s exclusive name (formerly Algoba Systems). It was an instant success. The Orphea solution was adopted by other agencies in France and abroad, including: REA, SIPA PRESS, MONDADORI… These legacy clients, which have remained loyal, did much to aid the growth and fame of the solution.

Why the digital transformation is so important to businesses

The all-digital age and the exponential growth of the data and media produced by businesses and institutions enabled Orphea to enter other industries: Telecommunications, luxury goods, services, the public sector, banks, retail, research, industry, and more. In just a few years, the company became a preferred partner for communications and marketing departments in major organizations.

 

Orphea now has more than 150 clients worldwide, and more than 120,000 users in over 170 countries. The company gets one-third of its sales from export. Dedicated to innovation and to keeping its solutions fresh, the company devotes nearly 20% of its revenue to Research & Development in order to offer its clients the best technical and technological upgrades.

Orphea has a presence in France, in its Paris and Grenoble offices, and in Europe via its business partners in Milan, London, and Dubai.
